What is Sig-Check?
Sig-check.eu is a service provided by Trustable for the verification of qualified electronic signatures. These were developed according to the European guidelines for signatures and so it aligns with the German law..

Further technical information
In our development we used the IAIK-Toolkit of the Graz University of Technology (www.iaik.at). The IAIK-JCE Toolkit is evaluated by the Common Criteria EAL3+.
The implementation of some hash algorithms is borrowed from the GNU Crypto Project . You can find a copy of the GNU General Public License under http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html
Processing of PDF embedded signatures is enabled by the iText project. A stripped down version of iText is included within the applet.
To minimize the size of the applet we use the impressive proGuard tool.
The code size was cut down more than 80% ! As a result the decompilation output of the shrinked applet is hard to read. But as usual the source code is the applet is available here.
